Khan Academy and Brit Cruise join forces

Today I have some very exciting news. Over the holidays Sal Khan from Khan Academy expressed interest in my videos after viewing my YouTube page (which was a project I initially launched on Kickstarter). The Khan Academy is a not-for-profit educational organization with the goal of educating the world for free (with some serious funding help from Google and the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation). They are a small team with a big dream. Within 8 hours of his phone call I quit my job(s)…as of this moment I am working for Khan Academy. My job? “Continue making your videos”. I look forward to some exciting collaborations…and maybe hybrid exercise-video adventures! Here is the first video I delivered to Khan.

I remember coming across your youtube channel artoftheproblem and commenting about the titles being a little unclear when it was still new. I was very happy to discover your channel but didn’t think there would be much more to come from it as the quality of the videos seemed abit too good and I wondered how you would keep it up. I’m glad my cynical side was proven wrong. You’re awesome!

      Hey Russel,

Thanks so much for your response. It’s funny, I remember that exact comment as it caused me to hesitate about the title strategy. When I started this I wanted them to be as different/distinct as possible when compared to other elements in the videos. Now I’m wondering if the titles should be done in a similar or different way for the next episode….Great to hear from you, please keep in touch. I’m so lucky to have the support to do this and it’s hard to describe how excited I am about the next episode I’m currently preparing – Brit
